Bridges to the Future: Transitioning with Learning and Attention Issues
Learning Disabilities Association of Kingston (LDAK) is inviting you to participate in the workshop “Bridges to the Future” on transitioning with learning and attention issues. The workshop will be held on October 21, 2017 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at 817 Division Street (Family and Children Services of FLA building). Registration starts at 8:30.
Join us in this annual LDAK fundraising event and learn from our local experts, Carolyn Wiens, David Rynard, Gail Eaton-Smith and Shauna Dick, on how to support your child with learning and attention issues through the transitions from primary to secondary schools, and from secondary to postsecondary education. This workshop will be an opportunity to actively participate in discussions with experts and other parents and build your local support network.
Participation fee for LDAK members is $25, non-members $35, and students and seniors $15. Register online on Eventbrite or onsite (cash or cheque). Proceeds from this event will be used to support LDAK workshop and outreach events.
Free parking is available on site.
