Positive Space in Kingston?

Join the townhall on Positive and Safer Spaces in Kingston!

In December, representatives from Queen’s Positive Space, the City of Kingston, HIV/AIDS Regional Services, ygklgbt and members of the LGBT community met to begin a community discussion on positive space, training, stickers, and what these programs mean for Kingstonians.

The next step in this discussion is a townhall. We’re hoping to bring together people from across Kingston, from business leaders to service providers, tourism to community members! Our aim is to define what Positive Space means in Kingston, and begin working towards making Kingston a safer and more welcoming place for everyone.

We will be meeting in the upstairs room from 2:30pm to 4pm, and have been invited by Sir John’s to stay for happy hour from 4-6 as well!

This is a public townhall and all are welcome.
